I am engaged in a long-term research project to explore the parallels between humans and the natural world around us. Asian philosophy suggests that each individual embodies a microcosm of the universe. Last year, I delved into this concept through a film experiment and a performance, using visual projections on the naked body to examine the human canvas. In this new series, I aim to experiment with the idea of human flesh as the Earth’s body, with our veins representing rivers that carry the lifeblood of our existence.
